When the opportunity arises to advance Indiana philanthropy, IGA is eager to contribute to the cause. IGA partners with other organizations around specific topics that affect our members. The following represent our current participation in initiatives that will expand and enhance our nonprofit community.

- Access to Recreation
A four-state initiative that supports community foundations, parks and recreation providers, advocacy groups, and individuals as they work to provide greater access to a wide variety of inclusive recreation opportunities.
- EngAGEment Initiative
The initiative is designed to position Indiana grantmakers on the cutting edge of lifespan issues through education and collaboration.
- Indiana HomeTown Competitiveness
The Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs (OCRA) provides an overview of IHTC plus a link to an eight-minute video describing the program.
- Philanthropy 3D Project
The goal of this project is to improve the understanding and support for foundations among influential leaders in selected Great Lakes region states.
- Midwest Community Foundations’ Ventures
Through Midwest Community Foundations’ Ventures (MCFV), IGA delivers products, research, and assistance to member community foundations to facilitate innovation and growth.
