8:30 - 9:00      Introductions and foundation updates

9:00 - 9:30      Discussion of GIPO's purpose and objectives, focusing on how participants would like to see the group function

  • Should GIPO serve primarily as a forum to share ideas and best practices?
  • Should programs include a professional development aspect?
  • Should they focus on specific topics and/or feature presentations by outside speakers?
  • What can this group provide for program officers that they aren't already receiving elsewhere?
